Isobel holds a Recreational Running Certification from Athletics Victoria, an Ultra-Running Coach certification from UESCA and Cycling Coach certification from UESCA. She is a qualified Cert III and IV Personal Trainer, as well as a qualified Sports Nutritionist, with an extra Endurance Sports Nutrition certification from UESCA.

Isobel hosts the podcast Peak Endurance, where she chats about running and nutrition.

Isobel is a 3-time Australian long distance mountain running representative at the World Championships with a best finishing place of 10th female, and first Australian female. Twice Australian trail champion, she won Six Foot Track marathon in 4.11 (the second fastest female time in history at that time), has a marathon PB of 2:58, and won a 24-hour track race overall, with a distance of 198.7kms (her first 24-hour race). Isobel has competed in and won gruelling ultra-marathons in rugged mountainous terrain, including a Fastest Known Time on the 7 highest peaks in Victoria. Isobel is a world-class athlete who has raced all over the globe, including participating in the notorious Barkley Marathons twice. 

Peak Endurance Coaching head coach Isobel Ross is a world-class athlete who has the knowledge, expertise, experience and skills to take your running to the next level. Many years ago, she was just like you, looking for a coach. She wasn't impressed by cookie-cutter coaching programs or plans based on what had previously worked for the coach and knew there could be something better. So, she studied, learnt from mentors, and applied her knowledge in the real world. This has enabled her to be able to provide educated, personalised coaching plans designed just for you!
